Globe – Show Low – Globe

One weekend – two 200 brevets. Each brevet is one way (point to point route) between Globe and Show Low.

This route is typical Arizona: very remote, very picturesque. This is mining country and we’re definitely in the mountains. The most dramatic part of the ride is the 10 mile plunge down to the Salt River

The Game Plan for Two Day Riders: Most riders will want to arrive in Globe on Friday night. (Please make a reservation for yourself at a nearby hotel. I can recommend the Days Inn and Motel 6 but there are a zillion places to stay in Globe.) Saturday morning, we’ll leave our cars in Globe, and ride the brevet to Show Low where we’ll stay over on Saturday night. (Again, accommodations are on your own. Sunday’s start is at the Days Inn but Best Western is across the street.) On Sunday, we’ll ride the brevet course in reverse back to Gobe and to our cars.
