REGISTRATION NOTE : Once you are registered for a ride, you will see your name in the Registered Riders tab. It may take a day or so for it to appear. Registered riders WILL be sent a "Last Minute Notes" email the day after registration closes, normally the Thursday before the ride. If you do not receive it, please let me know. Also, check your spam folder for the email.

Cycling along Tempe Town Lake

This course is meant to be a chill ride circumventing a lot of population. The Phoenix metro area has a descent number of bike paths to ride when you feel like getting out of traffic.

This one starts in N Scottsdale to access the northern part of the Scottsdale Greenbelt. You'll ride the Greenbelt all the way to Tempe where you'll ride along Tempe Town Lake. After the lake, you'll remain on bike trails for most of the ride getting back north. The trails aren't as refined, but are still chill. All in all, it's a nice way to get out and enjoy the Valley of the Sun.

Directions:  Take AZ-51 to Union Hills Dr exit. Go west for about 1 mile to Cortado Coffee on Northeast Corner of 32nd St & Union Hills Dr. It is just east of the CVS Pharmacy.
There is a Park and Ride lot at PV Community College on the SE Corner
Other businesses are located on this corner. CVS Pharmacy, Circle K, Subway, Pizza Shop

This route climbs roughly 1,200' total feet. All of the "climbs" are really just inclines of 1-3% Leisurely and fun!

Cue sheets may be downloaded and printed by riders if they wish. Cue sheets will NOT be passed out at the start. Make sure you have a cue sheet as a backup in case your GPS fails.
