REGISTRATION NOTE: Once you are registered for a ride, you will see your name in the Registered Riders tab. It may take a day or so for it to appear. Registered riders WILL be sent a "Last Minute Notes" email the day after registration closes, normally the Thursday before the ride. If you do not receive it, please let me know. Also, check your spam folder for the email.

Cave Creek is a fun western town to visit. Lots of interesting stores and businesses here.
This route will explore numerous nice cycling areas in the far North Phoenix valley. The climbing will be modest and none are particularly challenging. Areas visited on the 200k include: Phoenix Sonoran Preserve, Peoria Regional Preserve, Lake Pleasant, Cave Creek and Fountain Hills. It's a scenic route with not much to slow you down.

Directions: Take AZ-51 to Union Hills Dr exit. Go west for about 1 mile to Cortado Coffee on Northeast Corner of 32nd St & Union Hills Dr. It is just east of the CVS Pharmacy.
There is a Park and Ride lot at PV Community College on the SE Corner
Other businesses are located on this corner. CVS Pharmacy, Circle K, Subway, Pizza Shop

This route climbs roughly 4,700' total feet. All of the climbs are long, gradual and not particularly difficult.

Lights, reflective vest, ankle bands: Required if riding after dark. There is about 11.5 hours of light. If you think that you might finish after 6 pm, you will need to have all the reflective equipment for your safety. Be smart, be safe!
