Ride Description

Blow by Blow: We'll start in North Phoenix with a gentle ascent up Scottsdale Rd to the town of Carefree. These are nice roads that will be mostly deserted in the early morning.

After your first CP, you'll be mostly descending for the next 10 miles as you visit the pristine desert CP at Cave Creek Regional Park. Horse lovers, mountain bikers and hikers will abound. Your stop will be brief but a return visit is highly recommended.

After your park visit you will make your way across the foothills and onto Dove Valley Parkway. This is somewhat of a bicycle expressway which seems like it was built for us. Your last CP will be at the Apache Wash Trailhead. This should be buzzing with mountain biker and hiker activity.

From here, you'll continue across Dove Valley and a quick trip back to Exhale bikes where the staff will greet you with open arms ( and maybe a treat or two :-)

Sound interesting? Challenging? Consider joining us on this event. You'll get to see a diverse range of Arizona packed into a really fun event.
